Plumbing costs are usually more expensive than any other profession in construction. I sometimes cringe when the homeowner wants to move the existing fixtures to a new location or add new additional fixtures knowing how it will dramatically escalate the funds needed; most often going far above the proposed budget. Renovations dramatically increasing plumbing or electrical often limits the more important aesthetics of the project such as upgraded tile or natural stone that are always the focal point of all bathrooms. Tiling makes the finished product exciting and can make magical, beautiful changes if not limited because of plumbing changes.
